In the wake of the devastation caused by Typhoon Yolanda (international code name Haiyan), mainly in the Visayas region, the Embassy is disseminating the channels through which monetary donations could be immediately sent by Filipinos and their friends in Singapore.

Per the Department of Foreign Affairs, donations of used clothing is discouraged; under the circumstances, the best way to help the typhoon victims is to donate through cash, which will avoid logistical problems and ensure that the best items necessary for relief operations can be obtained and distributed on the ground. Please note that aside from these channels, if you can drop by at Lucky Plaza, you can also remit to these and other charity bodies (free of the remittance charge) through MetroBank and PNB, and other remittance centers.
