The Philippine Embassy would like to inform the public that the Apostille Certificates issued by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) for Philippine documents that are intended to be used abroad have the following features:
- QR code sticker (small rectangular sticker at the upper left portion);
- Keycode at the lower portion of the certificate;
- Electronic Signature of the Authentication Officer; and
- A round sticker affixed to the back portion.
To verify the authenticity of the Apostille Certificate, the recipient of the Apostille may visit the following link:
www.dfa.gov.ph/verify-apostille
The recipient will be prompted to enter the Apostille number and eight-digit Keycode to verify the authenticity of the Apostille. He or she may also opt to scan the QR code sticker using their mobile phones, and be directed to the link mentioned above.
