The Embassy of the Philippines in Brunei Darussalam informs the Filipino Community that effective 10 August 2022 until 09 September 2022, incoming short – term travelers to the Republic in Korea (ROK) through the Incheon, Gimhae, or Jeju international airports will be required to take a polymerase chain reaction test (RT-PCR) at the airport testing center upon arrival.
Short-term international visitors will be able to make their PCR test reservations via the pre-entry COVID-19 quarantine information input system, or Q-code, which has been used for self-isolation exemptions.
According to Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA), the measures are aimed at minimizing infections from overseas amid the resurgence of the COVID-19 virus cases in the country and the spread of the BA.5 variant abroad.
Thank you.
