The speakers were joined by Mr. Rozan Justin Teo bin Haji Azlan, Acting Commissioner of the Department of Labour, and Mr. Zulhilmi bin Haji Abidin, Acting Deputy Commissioner.
During the Open Forum, participants raised questions on the benefits for foreign workers and the protection that a prospective complainant could have during the time of mediation or prosecution of abusive employers.
The Bruneian authorities commended the active interest of the participants and vowed to effect more information dissemination activities among expatriate workers in Brunei Darussalam.
