The Philippine Embassy officers and staff, led by H.E. Meynardo LB. Montealegre, Philippine Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam, attended a Holy Mass in Filipino in thanksgiving for the 117th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence. The mass was presided by Rt. Rev. Bishop Cornelius Sim, Apostolic Vicar of Brunei Darussalam, at the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption (COLA) in Bandar Seri Begawan on 07 June 2014.
A get-together breakfast and fellowship was held afterwards at the Parish Hall. Packed breakfast was distributed to more than 550 members of the Filipino community in Brunei Darussalam. END
