Ambassador Nestor Z. Ochoa presided over the opening of the latest Jollibee outlet in Brunei Darussalam located at the Hua Ho Department Store in Mulaut. The new Jollibee outlet in Mulaut is the company’s 12th outlet in the Sultanate, with another one expected to be opened soon.

Mr. Joy Cortez, Operations Manager of Jollibee in Brunei Darussalam, stated that Jollibee, despite being a Filipino brand, has been widely accepted in Brunei Darussalam. “We are very proud to serve not just the Filipino market, but the mainstream market. It is fitting that we are opening our 12th branch today, as Jollibee is celebrating its 25th anniversary in Brunei Darussalam, having started operations on 22 August 1987,” he added.

In his remarks, Ambassador Ochoa congratulated Jollibee on the opening of its newest outlet in Brunei Darussalam. “Jollibee epitomizes the best in the Filipino culture — the excellence in the delivery of service and the quality of food.
