Ma. Ruzzel Descaya Tribujenia won a round trip ticket to Manila, courtesy of Cebu Pacific, during a raffle draw for overseas absentee voters who had registered during the period 01 November 2011-31 October 2012.

The said raffle draw was held during the Pasko ng Pinoy, a Filipino community gathering to celebrate Christmas, at the Scout Centre on Sunday, 09 December 2012.

“This is the Philippine Embassy’s way of expressing its appreciation for Brunei-based Filipinos who had responded positively to our campaign to register for OAV during the 12-month period ending in October 2012,” said Ambassador Ochoa.

He added: “We thank Cebu Pacific for its kind support for the Embassy’s efforts to reach out to Filipino voters in Brunei Darussalam.”

Per the ground rules for the OAV raffle, the winner has up to 09 January 2013 to claim her air ticket. In addition, Cebu Pacific shall have the final say on the ticket’s terms and conditions, including restrictions on the ticket.

Only voters who had registered for OAV during the period 01 November 2011-31 October 2012 were eligible for the raffle draw.

All Embassy personnel, their private staff and family members, the Embassy’s local hires, and the Embassy’s security and janitorial staff were disqualified from joining the raffle draw. END
