Bandar Seri Begawan, 16 August 2022 – Philippine Ambassador to Brunei H. E. Marian Jocelyn R. Tirol-Ignacio made a courtesy call on Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and Minister of Finance II on 16 August 2022 at the Ministry of Finance and Economy (MOFE).

Ambassador Ignacio and Dato Amin Liew discussed initiatives to strengthen economic relations between the Philippines and Brunei Darussalam, including enhancing reciprocal trade in goods and increasing connectivity for the transit of products between them and within BIMP-EAGA, as well as halal cooperation and development.
