The children, who come from different schools in the Sultanate, are participants of the Filipino Language and Cultural Enrichment Program (FLCEP), an annual program of the Philippine Embassy in Brunei for Filipino children based in the Sultanate to learn Filipino language, history and culture.

Accompanying the children in the museum excursion were their parents, Filipino teacher-volunteers, and Philippine Embassy officials.
