In light of the increasing number of COVID-19 positive cases in Brunei Darussalam, the Philippine Embassy will implement the following precautionary and preventive measures to ensure the health and safety of all our clients and Embassy personnel:
1. The Embassy will maintain its normal working hours to the public, as follows:
8:00AM – 5:00PM (Monday to Thursday)
8:00AM – 12:00NN and 2:00PM – 6:00PM (Friday)
2. Beginning on Wednesday, 18 March 2020, the Embassy shall require all clients to set an appointment through its online appointment system https://bruneipe.setmore.com/bookappointmentfor the services that they intend to transact with the Embassy (Passport, Notarial and Assistance-to-National Services), as well as its Partner Agencies (POLO-OWWA, SSS and Pag-IBIG).

3. Clients are encouraged to forego Embassy transactions that are deemed non-urgent.
4. Clients must NOT come to the Embassy if they have any fever or flu-like systems. The Philippine Embassy reserves the right to prevent the entry of any person showing flu-like symptoms.
5. Only transacting clients (no dependents or companions/friends) shall be allowed in the Embassy premises. Exemptions will be made only for clients who are minors, senior citizens or persons with disabilities.
6. Clients must sanitize their hands before entering the Consular Area. Hand sanitizers/alcohol are available for use upon entry but clients are encouraged to bring their own sanitizing materials for their protection and safety.
7. In keeping with the ban for all public events and mass gatherings, including wedding ceremonies and sports events, issued by the Ministry of Health (MOH), the solemnization of marriage at the Embassy is temporarily suspended. Those with scheduled solemnization of marriage at the Embassy will be contacted by our Consular Office for further details.
These measures are intended solely to prevent the possible spread of the COVID-19 virus to members of the Filipino community. We urge everybody to remain vigilant, observe the guidelines set by the authorities of Brunei Darussalam in preventing the spread of the virus, and to observe proper sanitation of oneself, as well as at their homes and workplaces.
